Beisel joined the Cardinals after he was released by the New England Patriots. He appeared in eight games with two starts at middle linebacker last season, collecting 14 tackles, one interception, one pass defended and six special teams tackles.
Originally a fourth-round selection by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2001 NFL Draft out of Kansas State, Beisel has appeared in 78 games with 17 starts in his career. He has registered 157 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 69 special teams tackles in stops with the Chiefs, Patriots and Cardinals.
